The folding kayaks are the right choice if you want paddle in remote country. They are very easy to transport by airplane. They became a bag after use. With a normal kayak this is impossible.

On May 2007, in the Hallwilersee lake in Switzerland, there was an interesting folding kayak meeting. Thanks to Beat Ettlin of the Unterwegs company of Aarau (CH) we have tryed many kinds of kayaks. There were the best folding kayak companies (Feathercraft, Klepper, Nautiraid, Grabner, etc.). A very unique event with the possibility to try the best folding kayaks of the market.
